  Strategic Pursuits Specialist

  The Strategic Pursuit team's mission is to drive Adobe's long-term revenuegrowth and profitability through larger and more strategic customertransformation commitments with Adobe by orchestrating Strategic Pursuitresources, coaching, advising, and enabling sales teams, partners,and customers on our Solutions for business outcomes and value-based sellingst

  In this role, you will be responsible for providing executive-levelstrategic business guidance on the commercial strategy and negotiation aroundAdobe's largest deals. This role will wear many hats, requiring a diversemix of commercial, financial, product, go-to-market, investment, andtechnical depth coupled with a strong executive business acumen andexceptional customer and partner-facing presentation skills to buildtrust-based relationships across our field organization and with the customerC

The idealcandidate is a self-starter with exceptional organizational skills, isexcited by a fast paced and competitive environment. You will have a trackrecord of helping build, and manage senior-level stakeholders to ensure thesuccessful execution of a complex program.Responsibilities

  Own the development of the commercial strategy and deal structure by aiding inthe early phases of knowledge gathering and due diligence; partners withecosystem in the deal structuring for strategic, complex, or highlycompetitive commercial opportunities and creates final strategy.Nurture an active pipeline of forecasted sales to meet and exceed quarterly,and annual quota objectives.Handle, coordinate, collaborate and work with various cross-functionalgroups within Adobe (Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance) tosuccessfully manage the entire sales cycle.Facilitate detailed opportunity assessments with sales leadership and keyinternal/external stakeholders, to help develop an end-to-end programstrategy (i.e. sequence of events, team RACI, Comms Strategy)Conduct proactive gap analysis to identify risks and opportunities within eachdeal cycle, and provide recommendations to sales leadership on how best toaddressLead opportunity communications via daily/weekly/monthly correspondenceand meetings, to ensure fluid horizontal and vertical alignment.Partner with ecosystem resources to identify and track all workstreams withinthe account against a program plan, facilitating communications, drivingalignment, and resolving any conflicts across opportunity stakeholders.Daily Reporting and opportunity tracking system updatesManage a large range of deliverables centered around translating enterprisearchitecture into financial structures, competitive analysis &positioning, profitability, negotiation, and strategic investmenthelping to inspire confidence in customers and partnersAcquire and maintain a working knowledge of the complete capabilities ofAdobe's Experience Cloud solutions.Analyzing customer requests and utilizing PowerPoint or Excel to translateinnovative commercial proposals into digestible formats to address uniquecustomer needsBuild and lead negotiation stra egy for successful deal closureCollaborate with internal strategy teams to provide necessary guidance onopportunity needs and objectives

  Preferred qualifications:A minimum of 5 years' prior enterprise-level outside software experience,preferably within web technology and/or digital marketing solutions withcommercial experience working on cloud related sales, consulting, licensingExperience working in highly matrixed organizations, with cross-functionalstakeholders, focused on realizing and measuring key objectives within ateam environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability totranslate analysis and insights into actionable business plans.Proven track record of success and a history of exceeding quotaAbility to manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities and fluid deadlines.Exceptional project management and organizational abilitiesAble to initiate and execute complex, cross-functional projects with minimalguidance.Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting tointernal executive stakeholdersOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographicmarkets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. payrange for this positionis $237,200 -- $350,100 annually. Paywithinthis range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-relatedknowledge, skills,and experience.
