Essential Job Functions:
Provide work and employment training services training to people who arecognitively, behaviorally and/or physically disabled.
Provide or arrange transportation as required.
Monitor progress towards goals, collect data on all services provided,evaluate results, make recommendations.
Complete documentation and maintain accurate records, prepare reports asrequired.
Assess the strengths of individuals and teach them to use themeffectively.
Teach job skills to the employee and guide in learning to complete jobtasks.
Assist the employee with soft skills such as social skills andcommunication in the workplace.
Counsel employee on fine-tuning work habits/skills to maintainemployment.
Help the employee stay motivated through difficult times.
Encourage the development of self-esteem and independence.
Work with the employer to identify their needs and workplace goals, andthe employees role in them.
