Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward.Strategic Campaigns and Pursuits (SCP) Coordinators are specialists in organizing, managing and producing targeted marketing and communication efforts for various teams and projects, including creating informational products to support these efforts.The SCP Team works proactively with teams on large and/or strategic pursuit opportunities to gain market share and to elevate HDR's stature in the industry. A pursuit refers to a tailored marketing effort that aims at winning new business or maintaining existing client relationships for the Water, Transportation, Federal, Building Engineering Services, and Resources business groups. As a senior-level marketing coordinator, this person will support the team's leader and pursuit team members with producing and coordinating proposals, presentations and other marketing collateral. They will also be responsible for note taking during meetings, sending meeting invitations, collecting and organizing draft documents, cataloguing reference materials, managing individual and team deadlines and some event planning related to marketing efforts. Tasks include managing the capture plan documents, writing, editing, taking notes, researching informational, learning basic technical engineering concepts, developing graphics to convey information and/or concepts, coordinating and producing interview presentations, and coordinating with pursuit team members (internal and external). Must have strong communication skills, capability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and ability to motivate others. Position requires up to 60% travel.Job ResponsibilitiesManages overall process and production of submittal documents responding to client solicitations (e.g., RFI, RFQ, RFP, RFIF, LOI, etc.)Performs initial client solicitation document analysis to assess submittal requirements and develop initial document outlineDevelops compliance documents and tracking files to ensure adherence to requirements and evaluation criteriaCollaborates with Pursuit Leaders to facilitate proposal and presentation storyboarding sessions, strategic messaging, and creative writing for all pursuit phasesDevelops tracking documents to keep submittals/proposals organizedManages document production, edits and changes with Strategic Pursuit DesignersCollaborates with Strategic Pursuit Designers and Creative Studio Graphic Artists to establish templates and standards for submittal/presentation look, feel and layoutProvides oversight and guidance to Strategic Pursuit Designers and Creative Studio Graphic Artists on graphics developmentCollaborates with Pursuit Leaders in facilitating proposal QC color reviews (blue, red, and fatal flaw)Establishes a production schedule and action plan to ensure all required proposal and presentation documents are produced to client requirements and delivered on timeManages resources in the areas of authoring, writing, copyediting, technical editing, illustrating, layout, visualization and other digital production, document quality control, compliance verification, and pri t productionReviews draft and final versions of submittals for responsiveness to client requirements, thoroughness, accuracy, staffing qualifications and identification, legal and financial considerations, quality and effective design and layoutSuggests management-level reviews and approvals of submittalsPerforms closeout activities to ensure lessons learned and a formal/informal debriefing process is initiatedTravel is requiredQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications, or related area, or minimum of 3 years industry experience*Experience managing large, complex proposals, including coordinating, leading and managing the pursuit process*Ability to work on complex and multi-part projects independently*Experience producing proposals within the A/E/C industry *Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams *Excellent problem solving, time management, organizational and project management skills*Initiative, self-organization, and deadline orientation are required**Primary work will be as part of a team, with high attention to detail, in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment*Ability to develop protocols, processes and systems and contribute to improving the efficiency of the business and team*Demonstrated leadership experience in leading, mentoring and engaging a diverse team of marketing, communications and graphic design professionals*Superior interpersonal and negotiating skills with a "customer service" focus*Strong oral and written communication skills*Understanding of graphic design and document layout principles*Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, as well as Adobe InDesign and Acrobat Pro*Approximately 60% travel requiredPreferred Qualifications*Minimum 5 years of experience preferredWhy HDRAt HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it. The expected compensation range for this position is $63,294 - $106,860 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
