JOB REQUIREMENTS: Our company is experiencing unprecedented growth. Weare seeking a strategic procurement manager. This individual willestablish a procurement vision by leveraging and optimizing currentprocurement strategies. They will also promote expeditiouscost-effective sourcing while developing existing talent to carryoutprocurement duties. Responsibilities include providing strategicguidance to support sourcing approaches for Replacement Parts andEPC/Design Build business; developing and managing contracts to ensurethe most optimal terms and conditions are achieved; reviewing,developing and ensuring compliance standards within purchasing policiesand aligning with industry best practices; developing sourcingstrategies for parts and EPC subcontractors; participating in businessteam meetings to ensure engagement and facilitate relationships withinternal business partners. Occasional travel will be required. Thisposition is currently an on-call (i.e., no benefits) position with thehours for this position could vary weekly from zero to 40, andpotentially sometimes more than 40. The successful candidate will have abachelor\'s degree (or higher) in business administration, businessmanagement or related field and at least two years of relevant capitalprocurement experience. If no degree, must have at least six years ofrelevant capital procurement experience. The ideal candidate will haveexperience in any/all of the following: developing procurementstrategies; developing master agreements, business schedules, NDAs,etc.; legal matters pertaining to procurement; developing purchasingpolicies; mentoring less experienced staff.
