　　Minimum qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.

　　7 years of experience in technical consulting.

　　Experience in architecting and writing analytics solutions code (e.g., data pipelines) and scripts in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Java).

　　Experience working with data platforms and warehouses, including data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures.

　　Preferred qualifications:

　　7 years of experience in managing customer/client-facing big data consulting projects to completion and managing technical delivery.

　　Experience in building multi-tier high availability applications with modern web technologies (e.g., NoSQL, MongoDB, SparkML, TensorFlow).

　　Experience with non-relational platforms and tools for large-scale data processing (e.g., information retrieval, data mining, or machine learning).

　　Experience migrating large data platforms to cloud and implementing cloud native solutions.

　　Experience architecting and developing software or internet scale production grade big data solutions in distributed environments.

　　As a Strategic Cloud Engineer, you will work directly with Google’s strategic customers on critical analytics projects that ingest, store, process, analyze, and explore/visualize data on the Google Cloud Platform. You'll work on data migrations and transformational projects and collaborate with customers to design large-scale data processing systems, develop data pipelines optimized for scalability, reliability and machine learning, and troubleshoot potential platform issues during customer engagements. You will work with client program owners, architects, and key technical leaders to bring solutions on Google Cloud Platform to life. You will work closely with key Google partners, to deliver joint consulting services, providing technical guidance and best infrastructure practices. You will also work closely with Product Management and Engineering to build and constantly drive excellence in our products.

　　In this role, you will work with Google Cloud's strategic Enterprise and Digital Native customers. You will support customer implementation of Google Cloud products through architecture guidance, best practices, data migration, capacity planning, implementation, troubleshooting, monitoring, and more.

　　Provide domain expertise in scalable data and analytics solutions on cloud and be a trusted technical advisor to customers.

　　Engage with customers in discussions providing technical recommendations on the Google Cloud environment and guidance to stakeholders within customer environments to create consensus and drive positive customer outcomes.

　　Work with customers to design cloud data platform architecture and solutions, provide technical expertise on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Big Data technology suite including BigQuery, Dataform, Pub/Sub, CloudRun, Dataflow, Google Cloud Storage, Google Cloud Composer, CloudBuild and Dataplex.

　　Create and deliver best practices recommendations, tutorials, blog articles, sample code, and technical presentations to different levels of key business and technical stakeholders.
