About Strategic Capabilities Operation Manager HR100574

  Type: Full-Time

  Location: Huntsville, AL

  Position Description:

  The Operation Manager is responsible for the execution, health, and growth of the Strategic Capabilities Operation activities and will provide leadership in three key areas for one of Radiances eight primary business units. These include:

  Operations -

  o Effectively work with Program Manager to ensure customer satisfication and relationships

  o Manage daily operations and organization-wide initiatives for a diverse group of 60+ employee-owners

  o Employee-owner engagement and growth

  o Employee-owner recongition (raise, bonus, awards)

  o Organizational structure

  o Staffing/recruiting

  o Budgeting/forecasting

  o Direct Staff guidance, including administrative, business development, program management, and group leadership personnel

  o Research and gather information to support executive-level taskings

  o Proactively engage with senior executives, action officers, and other stakeholders

  o Prepare executive-level briefings and status reports

  o Adherence to Radiance core values

  Business Development -

  o Efficient organic and inorganic growth

  o Strategy development and execution

  o Pipeline support and engagement

  o Industry and customer relationship sustainment

  o Proposal development including the preparation and review of technical and cost volumes

  o White Paper development

  Leadership Development -

  o Coaching

  o Mentoring

  o Collaborate on corporate training initiatives

  o Identifying and growing future leadership

  Required Skills:

  Bachelors Degree

  Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a higher clearance

  Effective communication

  Customer/Industry Relationship development experience

  Effective multi-tasking

  Demonstrated personnel management

  Travel: 10%

  Required Experience:

  At least 15 years of relevant DoD or military experience with 5 years of management/leadership experience

  Desired Qualifications:

  Masters Degree in a relevant field

  Experience with business development for DoD customers

  Experience understanding, tracking, and achieving key performance indicators (timesold, revenue, profit, direct labor, indirect labor, non-labor expenditures)

  Experience with Redstone Arsenal customers, especially the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technologies Office

  Experience with various Army and Air Force contract vehicles

  Clearance:
