　　A Strategic Buyer is needed for a multinational manufacturing company that produces and distributes trucks, buses and construction equipment, as well as marine and industrial drive systems in the Greensboro, NC area. This role needs an experienced strategic purchaser with a focus on supplier sourcing, negotiation, and project management in the automotive industry, specializing in thermal management systems and cost analysis for successful project outcomes.

　　responsibilities:

　　Read engineering drawings and technical requirements with support from Engineering.

　　Possess strong knowledge of Radiator and Battery Thermal Management systems, including various raw material content.

　　Manage supplier sourcing activities from project phase to operations, aligning with QCDFTSR expectations.

　　Drive RFI and RFQ processes through the sourcing process.

　　Develop sourcing plans and award suppliers for various projects, adhering to cross-functional time plans.

　　Analyze supplier proposals with a focus on assembly line layout, standard work processes, and labor content.

　　Understand cost breakdowns and their impact on pricing.

　　Skills:

　　Developed project management skills, positive attitude, and strong business acumen.

　　Desire to work collaboratively in a team towards a common purpose.

　　Education and Experience:

　　Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field is an advantage.

　　10+ years of strategic purchasing experience in the automotive or similar heavy manufacturing industry.
