KBR’s Estates Intelligence team are market-leaders in the public sector FM Assurance market, providing innovative centralised technical platforms and professional services to a diverse central government and specialist departmental estates portfolios to enable them to manage their estates and manage the supply chains that maintain their estates.
About the Role
The Estates Intelligence team has recently refreshed their strategic market offering and has rebranded all client facing services into a well-articulated and compelling proposition to secure new opportunities. Asset management sits at the forefront of the proposition, and so the team is looking for a dedicated and experienced Head of Asset Management who will own all aspects of the capability. The successful candidate will be expected to meet regularly with the team in either Leatherhead or Swindon, but otherwise work across prospective client sites to grow business opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Our ideal candidate will have experience in leading and growing an Asset Management team, ideally to support public sector clients along with experience in owning and developing an Asset Management capability. You will be able to identify opportunities to enhance the KBR service offering, and implement them.
Experience in the development & performance management of asset management systems and ISO55001 certification within an asset management organisation is preferable, along with a good understanding of industry standards in structuring asset data, verification and data migration to CAFMs and CMMs.
We are looking for someone with experience in both designing and implementing asset management strategies aligned to client objectives, including long-term asset allocation, risk management and performance measurement.
The right candidate for this role with have a proven stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence strategic decision makers, promoting asset management philosophy. You will have the a bility to think strategically, and to show awareness of business goals and drivers in order to secure business growth.
Experience of and comfortable with the main principles of technology led product and service management, including (but not limited to) cloud hosted solutions, software automation, integrated software solutions, mobile solutions, dashboarding and analytics is also necessary for this role.
Whilst not essential, previous experience in the FM sector, with CAFM software (Concept Evolution, Planon, Maximo), experience of BIM and/or experience of helping clients to achieve green policy and sustainability strategies would be a real bonus.
Qualifications, Experience & Skills
Essential:
Full UK driving licence plus own transport
Ability to obtain and hold UK security clearance
Desirable:
Degree or post graduate qualification in a relevant discipline
Institute of Asset Management Certificate or Diploma qualification; certification as an IAM-approved Assessor; or an equivalent qualification is highly desirable
