As a Strategic Enterprise Account Executive, you will have the opportunity to drive digital technology transformation in partnership with one of our customer in the defense industry.
Leveraging your large, multi-functional team across the breadth of the Microsoft solutions portfolio, engage at the most senior levels of your customer and bring industry-relevant solutions to help the customer adopt and embrace digital technologies.
With a proven history of driving growth in market share, achieving sales targets, customer obsession, and partner collaboration, this role will give the opportunity to leverage your extensive customer network and sales experience to execute against your customer’s account plan.
Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Customer Obsession
Deliver business growth and sales excellence through leading and empowering account teams. Lead execution of Go to Market (GTM) to achieve customer business outcomes across the entire customer lifecycle.
Customer Advocate : Accelerate customer satisfaction and model executive engagements with business decision makers and C-Level executives.
Industry Relevant Trusted Seller – Proactively develops a strong understanding of the customer’s business, industry priorities to drive new business opportunities/ drive growth/net new business. Advocates on behalf of the customer internally, ensuring requests and needs of assigned accounts are being addressed.
Industry Knowledge – Builds and maintains a strong knowledge of the defense industry - associated business strategy, and key industry partners and solutions. Gains deeper insights and knowledge through direct engagement in their customers’ business and operations.
Maximize share of wallet, achieve targets (billed revenue, consumption, and adoption), and win against competition through flawless execution.
You will lead partnership across the organization to achieve business value for customers and business results for Microsoft.
Qualifications
Experiences Required:
Strong sales and business background, with 10+ years of technology-related experience, that includes extensive direct contact with customers and partners in Defense industry.
Proven track record achieving sales quota – preferred
Possess executive maturity, presence and experience in building trust with senior education decision makers and articulating how education institutions can digitally transform teaching and learning/student outcomes with Microsoft solutions
Ability to drive digital transformation in a highly competitive environment with proven ability to successfully anticipate market changes to drive industry-relevant solutions, address competitive threats and navigate complex customer environments
Experience in leading and driving the entire sales cycle, orchestrating virtual selling teams where necessary, leveraging repeatable offerings that maximize revenue/market share/consumption opportunities and increase customer satisfaction
Strong knowledge of Defense industry
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Additional or preferred qualification
Master's degree in Business Administration (i.e., MBA), Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience; or
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience; or
7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience; and
4+ y ears of solution or services sales experience
