Parametrix is seeking a Senior Stormwater Design Engineer to join our growing, outstanding team of award-winning water resource professionals in the Puget Sound region. We are conveniently located in downtown Seattle. We offer flexibility for a remote hybrid schedule coming into the office for project work and team collaboration. This position will be primarily client-facing and will focus on project management and delivery, business development, and staff mentorship for storm and surface water projects and clients. You will be a key part of our established surface water design team, engaged in practice strategy, and have leadership opportunities.Who you are:Senior Leader: Degree in Civil, Environmental or Geological Engineering (or another field combined with an environmental focus), PE and 8+ years of total experience including A&E consulting experience. Demonstrated design and project delivery success with previous experience with storm and surface water projects and clients. Supervisory experience is desirable, along with a focus on strong client relationships and interest in developing new business in the region.Strong Technical Focus: Capable of managing, leading, and delivering varied civil and environmental projects with a focus on stormwater modeling and design for municipal and transportation projects, fish passage, hydraulics, and river design expertise. Modeling experience with WWHM, MGSFlood, SWMM, HEC-RAS and SRH-2D or SMS is desirable.Collaborative Team Contributor: Passion and enthusiasm to provide mentorship, team-oriented, and able to connect at all levels with Parametrix employee-owners.
