Position Purpose: Facilitate the ordering,purchase, receiving, storage, safeguarding and distribution of all foodand beverage products. This hourly position will involve manual labor incombination with recordkeeping and computer skills to accomplish theabove. Essential Functions: - Product physical inventories for food /beverage. - Compiling and delivering outlet product requisitions.Experience with pallet jack and forklift a plus but will train asrequired. - Compiling of information for daily/weekly orders. -Maintaining accurate pricing in the ordering and inventory systems. -Checking in and receiving product to be stored in there correctlocations. - Able to keep storeroom within health codes with basiccleaning. - Supervising Clerks and handling basic issues. - AssistingCustomers with products that need to be purchased in a timely sensitivemanner. - Coordinating and identifying food that is going to expire andalerting the Culinary Department to have it prepared in a timelymanner. - Be able to work in extreme cold and hot environments asneeded. - Scanning Invoices into our e-procurement software. - Printinglabels for UPS for pick-up and receiving packages. - Review Requisitionsand order products not in stock. - Perform other duties as assigned.Position Requirements: - High School graduate preferred. - Must be ableto lift up to 60lbs. - Resort hotel background and familiarity withMicrosoft Excel. - A solid understanding of hotel food / beverageproducts. - Ability to problem solve and prioritize tasks in order tocontribute to the success in a fast paced environment to meet aggressivedeadlines. - Requires commitment and dependability along with betterthan average recordkeeping skills. - Ability to work a flexible scheduleincluding days, nights, weekends and holidays.
