  Store Manager

  Havre's Helping Haven is a local nonprofit thrift and resale store. The Haven relies heavily on good leadership within the store to keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. We are looking for an individual who possesses excellent organizational skills, customer service, and communication skills to join our team. The right person will have a strong work ethic and a passion for helping others and&; giving back to the community, as that is what our organization is built upon.

  Position: Full-time Manager

  This position requires exceptionally strong leadership skills - including organizational skills, communication skills, ability to delegate tasks, as well as good time management and creativity in improving outcomes.

  Responsibilities (directly or through delegation of tasks):1. Overseeing employees and volunteers2. Tracking and scheduling shifts3. Making bank deposits4. Opening and closing the store5. Cashiering6. Maintaining the store& ; S social media presence and/or online sales.7. Creating timely sales events to help move inventory.8. Maintaining safety, organization, and cleanliness of the store.9. Communicating with customers, community organizations, co-workers, and Board of Directors.10. Maintaining regularly scheduled staff/volunteer meetings at the store.11. Ensuring the flow of inventory is moving - including sorting and inspecting donated items for& ; quality, determining items to be processed for sales floor or redistributed through give-away events or donations to other organizations, and restocking inventory on the sales floor.

  Qualifications & Requirements:1. College degree preferred; High school diploma or equivalent will be considered with adequate& ; experience.2. Verifiable experience in thrift store/retail/customer service/or leadership role (references will be checked).3. Strong work ethic, including reliability, punctuality, and efficient use of time.4. Strong customer service skills and helpful, courteous approach to resolving complaints.5. Strong organizational skills &and ; attention to detail without losing sight of larger goals.6. Strong communication skills & ; in-person, over the phone, and in written communications.7. Professionalism in appearance and conduct.8. Commitment to working collaboratively with the community to help those in need and strengthen connections.9. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and/or drug test upon hire.10. Physical Requirements: Standing for extended times, walking the store, pushing/lifting heavy items, occasionally climbing stepstool or ladder.
