Job Opportunity: Concrete Finisher Helper, 3 Temporary, Full-time openings
Job duties: Help concrete finishers by performing duties requiring less skill. Duties include using, supplying, or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Adhere to company comprehensive project safety and security programs as defined in the company safety program in accordance with all applicable safety codes and regulations. Meet with safety coordinator and complete mandatory Franjo construction safety training prior to start of employment.

Minimum experience requirements: NoneWork hours and days: Basic Schedule: 40 hr/wk; 7:00 am -- 3:30 pm; M-F; including 30 min unpaid lunch.Dates of Need: 04/01/2024 -- 10/31/2024On-job training will be provided.Special Requirements: Must be able to operate walk behind/ride-on finish machines. Must have industry related knowledge of commonly used concrete finishing tools and methods. Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test screening. These tests will be administered to all applicants, U.S., and foreign national workers, alike. Any employee who does not pass these tests will be terminated or placed on probation. Random drug tests also administered throughout employment term.

Rate of Pay: $24.33 /hour Employer may offer a higher wage based on experience
Overtime hours are offered, and the hours vary, rate of overtime pay: $36.50/hour
Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.Frequency of pay: WeeklyBoarding options: Voluntary housing option is available for employees; housing is not mandatory; $100/week is deducted from workers' paychecks for workers who choose housing.Employer will make all deductions from workers' paycheck as required by law; deductions employer intends to make from paycheck, which are not required by law.If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed early, employer will provide or pay for the workers' reasonable costs of return transportation and daily subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.```{=html}
