　　Job Summary

　　This position is responsible for utilizing the TMC material handling system and all related sterilization documents that pertain to the Gamma Sterilization process - a) inventory status, pre and post sterile inventory control, irradiator run instruction packet - b) product discrepancy reporting - c) pallet configurations and Sterilization carrier load configurations for irradiated products - d) placement/retrieval of dosimeters on product - e) Irradiator conveyor system. Utilizing accepted methods for staging products that will be transferred manually to and from the Sterilization Department.

　　Job Details/Responsibilities

　　Irradiator operations - a) Ionizing radiation, biological effects, RSO Call list, Irradiator protective features, machine fault and caution indicators, evacuation plan, fire evacuation exits, emergency procedures, personnel dosimetry, lock out/tag out, irradiator skill map.

　　Accurate documentation of product code, lot code, pallet carrier labeling, and quantities on

　　Sterilization load or unload sheets.

　　Placement or retrieval of product dosimeters.

　　Movement of materials or products in and out of the irradiator staging areas or load/ unload

　　stations.

　　Handling of test samples or retentions.

　　Manufacture of attenuation materials as needed.

　　Completion of Irradiator product discrepancy form.

　　MHCS computer screen formats and operations.

　　Notification to AGV technicians for undelivered product or slow delivery / pick up.

　　Completion of Sterilization skill map requirements.

　　Housekeeping.

　　Other duties as assigned.

　　Qualifications/ Background Experiences

　　High School Diploma or equivalent.

　　Technical Aptitude

　　Powered Industrial Lift Truck operator - or the ability to obtain a TMC Lift Truck operator permit.
