Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Staff SAP S4 HANA ABAP Developer with over 12 years of expertise in SAP development and a strong focus on S/4HANA solutions. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge, along with the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to deliver high-quality SAP solutions that align with business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP ABAP Development :

Design, develop, and implement complex ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, forms, and workflows in SAP environments.

Optimize existing ABAP code and develop performance tuning solutions for efficiency.

Collaborate with functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

S/4HANA Expertise :

Participate in the migration of legacy SAP systems to S/4HANA, ensuring adherence to best practices and methodologies.

Develop and optimize CDS views, AMDP, and Fiori applications in S/4HANA.

Understand and implement S/4HANA data model changes and leverage new S/4HANA features for reporting and analytics.

Technical Leadership :

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members.

Lead development projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality SAP solutions.

Conduct code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Collaboration and Communication :

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, functional consultants, and project managers, to ensure alignment and understanding of project goals.

Participate in client meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and demonstrate solutions.

Documentation :

Maintain comprehensive documentation of technical specifications, development processes, and system configurations.

Contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions and maintain internal documentation repositories.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on S/4HANA.

Extensive knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., RAR,FI, CO, MM, SD, PP) and their integration with ABAP.

Experience with S/4HANA functionalities, including CDS views, Fiori, and embedded analytics.

Proficient in using debugging tools and performance analysis techniques for ABAP programs.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools.

Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

A proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and staying current with SAP developments.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP certification in ABAP or S/4HANA ( Optional ).

Experience with SAP HANA database and native SQL.

Knowledge of integration technologies (e.g., SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs).

Understanding of DevOps practices and tools in the SAP environment.
