As a Staff Quality Assurance Engineer on our team, you are the backbone of our strategic initiatives and will be responsible for developing technology critical to the success of our projects as well as national security. This position offers an opportunity to participate in quality assurance and testing efforts on cutting-edge physics-based modeling and simulation software.

  If you are a dynamic and motivated Software QA Engineer interested in contributing to our customer's growth in the fields of engineering, research, and software development then this immediate opening provides an exciting opportunity for you to engage in quality assurance and testing for cutting-edge physics-based modeling and simulation software.

  Day to Day Responsibilities as a Staff QA Engineer:

  Collaborating with software engineers to comprehend the technical architecture and implementation of each feature.

  Interpreting and reporting testing results, advocating for quality throughout the development process.

  Creating comprehensive test plans and test cases to support new features.

  Identifying, isolating, documenting, regressing, and tracking bugs through resolution.

  Collaborating effectively within the development team and demonstrating excellent communication skills.

  Staff QA Engineer Requirements:

  The nature of work (i.e. interactions with the intelligence community and DoD programs) requires eligibility to apply for and hold a US security clearance; selected applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements at the time of employment.

  Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5-7 years of relevant experience. Equivalent professional experience (at least 11 years) will be considered for talented candidates without a degree.

  Proficient in testing methodologies within an integrated agile project team.

  Ability to code automated tests using Test Complete, Robot, J-Unit, Silk4J, or Pytest.

  Programming proficiency in C++, Java, or Python.

  Experience with AWS or other cloud technologies.

  Staff QA Engineer Preferences:

  Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field with 3+ years experience.

  Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) tools such as Gitlab, Jenkins, or TeamCity.

  Container management technologies like Kubernetes, OpenShift, or Docker.

  Application security tools such as Fortify or SonarQube.

  Automated testing expertise.
