　　Our Federal group is looking for a Staff Process Engineer to support our growing work in DOE and DOD production and nuclear facilities. The successful candidate will:

　　Support process design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion. Processes include fluid and liquid handling, dry material handling, and packaging of both liquid and dry materials.

　　Develop PFDs, P&IDs, Heat and Mass Balances (HMBs), pump and equipment sizing calculations

　　Develop process instrument and equipment data and specifications.

　　Demonstrate leadership ability at the discipline level on smaller multidiscipline project teams.

　　Develop process models with commercially available programs (Aspen, Hysys, ChemCAD) or by building a custom model in Excel.

　　Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines. (Mechanical, Architecture, Electrical, Controls, Designers, etc.).

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from accredited program.

　　Minimum 3 years related experience, consulting preferred (completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).

　　Excellent written & verbal communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

　　Previous consulting experience preferred.

　　Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.

　　Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoE or DoD Security Clearance.

　　This position requires an experienced and competent individual capable of successfully solving difficult problems that require adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.

　　Must be capable of devising new approaches to problems encountered.

　　The position may require travel to support projects, estimated at 25%.

　　Compensation Range

　　$105,000 - $175,000

　　The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
