Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am to 4pmPOSITION SUMMARY: The Clinical Director is a key member of the center administrative team that supports the mission and values of the Early Childhood Service line, provides leadership and oversight of programming rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and provides direct supervision of program Behavioral Specialists and co-supervision to program assistants. Assistant Director also provides in-service training to program assistants on all ABA program specific methods and provides administrative oversight to the Seedlings program as directed by Program Director.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Provides supervision of assigned staff in the areas including, but not limited to, recruitment, selection, leadership, coaching, training, performance management, promotion, discipline and terminationDevelops and implements training plans related to, but not limited to, natural environment teaching, discrete trial instruction, functional routines, verbal behavior programming, functional behavioral assessment, positive behavior support, assessment, data collection, and curriculum developmentAssists with the development and implementation of internal and external Seedlings policies and proceduresDemonstrates flexibility in addressing daily situations involving school administrators, outside agency representatives, parents and Elwyn personnelOffers and accepts constructive feedback to and from staff and both offers and welcomes suggestions to improve professional skills and techniquesUtilizes self-assessment as a strategy for professional growthProvides intensive oversight and support in the implementation of techniques, interventions and strategies rooted in the principles of ABAStays current on latest research in the field of ABA/Special Education and participates in research on-site to improve programming for studentsCollaborates with internal and external teams to develop well-rounded, research-based Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for studentsSupports staff with the appropriate implementation of IEPs, as well as individual programming for studentsMonitors program-wide assessments, as well as supports teams in aligning assessment information with student programmingUtilizes creativity to plan and implement a wide array of events, activities and fundraisers to supplement Seedlings programmingProvides BCBA supervision for staff pursuing this level of certificationPerforms other duties as assigned

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification for a minimum of one year required; must have completed all Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements for supervisionPennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification in special education or other relevant field preferredOne (1) year of supervisory experienceFive (5) years of experience in providing direct services to preschoolers or school-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) in the context of a school or early intervention programDemonstrated ability to model and supervise programming rooted in the principles of ABADemonstrated ability to develop and implement Functional Behavioral AssessmentsDemonstrated ability to develop and implement Positive Behavior Support PlansDemonstrated ability to assess students with ASD utilizing tools such as Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) and individualized progress monitoringDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate to internal and external staff and parents/guardiansDemonstrated ability to assist staff in adhering to organ zational and regulatory agencies' policies and proceduresOne (1) year experience with adapting curricula to meet student needsOne (1) year experience with adaptive or assistive technology as related to early intervention servicesEffective written and oral communication skills
