Duties and Responsibilities * Manage and analyze data obtained from geophysical remote sensing systems to obtain meaningful results * Analyze data acquired from aircraft or ground-based platforms using industry-standard software * Develop processes and procedures * Prepare deliverables from processed data, such as figures and reports with conclusions and recommendations * Educate internal and external clients * Research and recommend approaches for new geophysical applications Required Skills * Bachelor's or advanced degree in geophysics, geology, or a closely related technical field * Minimum of 4 years of experience * Experience in collecting and processing geophysical data, especially magnetometer data. Experience in other geophysical techniques, including seismic, electromagnetics (EM), ground penetrating radar (GPR), gravity, or electrical resistivity for geotechnical, utility, or UXO applications, is a plus * Ability to apply specific data processing and data collection software to various datasets * Experience with aerial and vehicle-towed land geophysical surveys * Demonstrated knowledge/experience with geophysical instruments such as the Geonics EM-61, MagArrow, and other similar instrument packages * Ability to travel up to 10% * Willingness to interface with clients and cross-sell * Desire to lead efforts to expand the geophysical capabilities of the firm Compensation Range Minimum USD $70,000.00/Yr.
