We are an innovative research center looking for highly organized, detail-oriented and enthusiastic candidates to support the patient-oriented research portfolio of the Center.
Under the direction of the Director of Research, Administrative and Clinical Operations and the Director of Research Implementation, the Staff Associate II can expect to represent the Center by interacting with a wide variety of multi-disciplinary personnel at our Center, including study PIs, research coordinators, data team personnel and administration. S/he must be able to demonstrate flexibility in workload and work hours to meet critical deadlines. Further, we anticipate developing new studies and research directions, so ideal candidates will be able to adapt to a fast-paced environment with evolving responsibilities, workloads and work schedules.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Processing physical activity and sleep multi-day raw accelerometer data.Processing all GGRI data for the Actigraphy Core data at CBCHProcessing data and transforming data from various formats (e.g. JSON, XML, etc.) to CSV, SAS or ExcelImplementing, testing, modifying and debugging programming code in R and other programming languagesDevising automation techniquesAssisting with data cleaning processes to create key variables datasets for statistical analysisThis position requires independent decision making and minimal supervisionPerforming other responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or quantitative methods or related field and 1.5 years relevant experienceExperience with GGRI coding and analysisExperience with programming languages (SQL, Javascript, HTML, XML, etc)Experience with data analysis and professional software language (SAS or R)Experience processing and performing complex transformation of data from various formats (e.g. JSON, XML, etc.) from FileMaker, web/mobile apps, and other digital technology into the following analyzable formats: CSV, SPSS, SAS and ExcelExperience with API programming including, but not limited to, Qualtrics and FitbitExperience developing web/mobile-based apps for research data collection, or a good understanding of the app development processExperience with building data visualizations and dashboards with Tableau, R, Shiny, D3.js or similar toolsWell-organized, proactive, extremely organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.Able to balance working independently and within a multidisciplinary team Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Preferred Qualifications:
