  Additional Information:This role is 20 hours per week and is overtime eligible.

  This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA based campus 3 days per week. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.

Director, RCS, the Staff Assistant, RCS works closely with the other members of the RCS team to provide an exceptional level of administrative support for the day-to-day operations of the department by performing the following duties:

  Responsible for managing the collection and reporting of time and billing for RCS staff, ensuring appropriate documentation is obtained, and established processes are followed.

  Accurately and efficiently prepares ADIs for invoicing and payment with the Financial Office in accordance with Harvard Business School (HBS) financial office guidelines.

  Processes billing services related to the Cannon supercomputer cluster, Amazon Web Services, and external vendors in a timely and efficient manner.

  Assists with maintaining the department website.

  Provides high level administrative support for the Senior Director and the RCS team by processing P-Card transactions, answering departmental telephones and email, department scheduling and ordering, and providing front desk coverage.

  Manages the licensing of all research computing software used by faculty, researchers, and others at HBS.

  Provides coverage and support for the RCS inbox, assisting with creating new user accounts and project spaces; managing existing accounts and project spaces; and triaging requests.

  Aids with scheduling training provided by other RCS Staff.

  Other duties as assigned.

RCS divides its time between consulting on faculty research, working on specific research projects, and developing and supporting research infrastructure at the School. As part of the Division of Research and Faculty Development, RCS works closely with Harvard Business School’s other research support services to ensure seamless delivery of research services.

  Reporting to the Senior.
