The establishment of the Shared Services is to support the advancement of TNCs goals: sharpening our focus, strengthening our culture, and driving operational excellence. This role will have the opportunity to support organization wide operational excellence through optimization of people, processes, systems, and compliance via performing and delivering core finance services/workstreams in accounting. ACE sits within the central Finance Business Unit (BU), which will allow for more standardized processes, creation of more efficiencies and synergy across the core finance services/workstreams.Specifically, the Staff Accountant will execute results in the new Shared Services Team of ACE, by providing specialized accounting services at the business unit level. The role will partner with ACE leadership and liaise with BU finance staff to provide guidance and financial support and process journal entries for business units.Position location is flexible within the United States.The Staff Accountant provides specialized services in processing journal entries, accounting or similar financial activities for a department or business unit. They are an expert in their area of specialization. They administer and maintain finance/accounting activities in accordance with TNC policies and procedures and best practices in financial management. The Staff Accountant provides assistance to staff in their specialty area. RESPONSIBILITIES and SCOPE Reviews and registers journal entries, interprets results of transactions and communicates necessary actions needed to comply with accounting standards and business procedures. Ensures TNC policies and procedures, financial standards and legal requirements are met. Experience using automated accounting systems.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated. Accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organization skills. Non-profit accounting experience.
