Located in the Acworth, Georgia area, this position is a challenging, multi-faceted opportunity to work for a company that recognizes and rewards hard work. In this role, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation and be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. If you have a complex understanding of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets, you will be preferred for this role.

　　How you will make an impact

　　Manage reconciliation, depreciation, and fixed asset ledgers

　　Contribute to the implementation, maintenance, and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Compose journal entries and conduct the month-end close with minimal supervision

　　Impromptu reporting and special projects, when requested

　　Support the month end, quarter end and year end closing process, which includes monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　Organize and review various financial data, then report it in a manner that is useful and understandable

　　Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

　　Thorough experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Manage intercompany billings, transactions, and reconciliation

　　Play a part in a variety of department-wide initiatives

　　Requirements

　　Competent with spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment

　　High attention to detail

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required

　　Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

　　Ability to complete multiple tasks and projects within deadlines

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Comprehensive knowledge of journal entries

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
