The PC Technician Role is a short-term contract / temporary opportunity and will be located in the Valley Stream, New York region.

　　Key responsibilities

　　Document all daily data communication transactions, issues and solutions or installations

　　Support functionality testing and end users

　　Image and prepare new computers

　　Communicate with ticket submitters effectively and on a regular basis

　　Disassemble, box and ship equipment that is out of date

　　Take down, pack, transport and set up/install on site

　　Ensure the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards

　　Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs

　　Manage equipment inventory, collaborating on purchases as needed

　　Take responsibility for technology implementation projects and carry them out

　　Transfer data from PC to PC and troubleshoot software/hardware as well as break/fix

　　Diagnose, restore, rebuild, and refurbish computer hardware, such as PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and additional IT equipment

　　Coordinate with the appropriate vendors to arrange repairs Requirements - 1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN

　　Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

　　Data Center Technologies experience preferred

　　Experience with Data Center Environment

　　Knowledge of cabling

　　Proficiency in cabling

　　Database Servers experience desired

　　Proven knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure

　　CompTIA A+ certification mandatory

　　Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

　　Skilled in network design and implementation strategies

　　Strong problem-solving skills
