Description We are offering a contract for a permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Pilot Point, Texas, 76258, United States. The selected candidate will join our team and assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.

• Maintenance and preparation of financial statements and reports.

• Assisting with the monthly closing process, which includes creating journal entries and reconciliations.

• Analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts.

• Entry of purchase orders and issuance of checks.

• Assistance with payroll processing and related tasks.

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Usage of Sage Software for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)

• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Familiarity with the General Ledger

• Proficiency in making Journal Entries

• Ability to manage Month End Close tasks

• Knowledge of Sage Timberline software

• Proficiency in using Sage Software
