Description We are offering a contract-to-permanent employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Vacaville, California. The Staff Accountant will play a crucial role in our finance department, with responsibilities such as managing fixed assets, overseeing customer deposits, handling accounts payable and receivable, and conducting audits. This role will be instrumental to our company's planned growth and global expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee fixed assets within the company

• Handle customer deposits and ensure accurate recording and processing

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable activities, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and efficiently

• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and standards

• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting

• Utilize GAAP knowledge to ensure financial practices align with regulations and standards

• Leverage skills in Microsoft NetSuite, QuickBooks, and Excel to manage and analyze financial data

• Handle and process expense reports, ensuring accuracy and timely completion

• Assist in the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and general ledger operations

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and management

• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations accurately and efficiently

• Familiarity with General Ledger management and operations

• Strong skills in creating and managing Journal Entries

• Proven experience with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in using NetSuite for accounting purposes

• Experience with QuickBooks and its applications in accounting
