My client is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team in their Washington, DC office. They are an established organization and the Staff Account for the role will have the opportunity for growth. The ideal Staff Accountant for this role will be responsible for auditing and processing expense reports, reconciling credit card/bank statements, assisting with month-end close, posting journal entries, research and other ad hoc projects as required. Daily responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:

· Coordinating month-end close.

· Reconciling credit card/bank statement.

· Posting various journal entries.

· Prepare financial statements.

· Auditing and processing expense reports.

· Assist with other ad hoc duties.

Requirements

The ideal Staff Accountant we seek must have the following qualifications for consideration:

· 0-1+ years of accounting experience.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

· CPA or pursuing CPA licensure, a plus.

· Strong communication skills.
