Description We are in search of a meticulous Credit Clerk to join our team in the accountancy industry located in Lincoln, Nebraska. The successful candidate will be involved in the processing of customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. Monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments will also be part of the job.

Responsibilities:

• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly

• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Execute recording and maintaining financial transactions and reports in an accounting system

• Assist in creating and reviewing financial statements and reports

• Verify and reconcile deposits, withdrawals, and payroll

• Contribute to budgeting and internal audits preparation

• Execute preparation of taxes and multi-state payroll processing

• Apply skills in Accounting Functions, Bookkeeping, Payroll, Multistate Payroll, Preparing Tax Returns, and Public Accounting Tax. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a bookkeeping role within the accountancy industry

• Proficiency in accounting functions and bookkeeping is a must

• Demonstrable experience in managing payroll and multistate payroll

• Proven ability to prepare tax returns accurately

• Knowledge and experience in public accounting tax

• Proficient in using various accounting software and tools

• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant certification or degree in accountancy or related field is advantageous.
