We are makers of the legendary bottle and box.unites technology, marketing and sourcing to drive transformational change for the world's leading brands.About the Role:We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our Finance team.In this role, you will work on a wide range of accounting functions including journal entries, account reconciliations, cash entries, and sales commissions.If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, growing company, we would love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Record journal entries to the general ledger under the supervision of other members of the Accounting team.Perform month-end and quarter-end close procedures.Reconcile various balance sheet accounts and perform fluctuation analyses.Assist in the compilation of monthly and quarterly financial statement packages.Support financial and regulatory audits by the gathering and preparing information and assisting other members of the team as needed.Perform ad hoc research and analysis of financial information.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, CPA or CMA preferred.Exposure to accounting in a professional setting, ideally in a consumer products of manufacturing environment.Good understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and a systems view of accounting processes.Strong Excel skills, comfortable working with large amounts of data from multiple sources.Previous experience or exposure to an ERP system.High attention to detail, able to take initiative and prioritize work, good problem prevention and problems solving skills.Excellent written and oral communication skills, able to explain accounting concepts in simple language and provide explanations of "why" in addition to "what".Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, actively seeks feedback and responds well to coaching.Stanley is committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
