The duties of Staff Accountant include fixed asset maintenance, bank reconciliation, general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and the preparation of monthly and year-end closings. This position will require a fair amount of time dedicated to producing Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. During the monthly close, you'll also be charged with various aspects of internal reporting. In addition, you will be in charge of communicating with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, playing an active role in compliance, and looking over schedules for the reporting processes.

　　Your responsibilities

　　Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting

　　Assist in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation

　　Commentate on a wide variety of financial data and communicate it in a useful and understandable manner

　　Participate in various department-wide initiatives

　　Support capital lease and monthly payment schedules

　　Support fixed asset ledger, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Maintain intricate journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll

　　Help with the implementation, maintenance and adherence to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Ad-hoc reporting and special projects, as needed

　　Perform month end close, journal entries with minimum supervision

　　Requirements - Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases

　　Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

　　Strong attention to detail

　　Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent

　　Experience with ERP systems

　　Skilled in analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Strong familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Journal entries experience

　　Post Invoices experience preferred

　　Recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills required
