CommuniCare Health Services is currently hiring full time Accountants for positions located at our Regional Office in Charleston, WV.

　　Job duties & responsibilities

　　Responsible for ensuring timely month end close processing and financial statement review and distribution.

　　Reviews bi-weekly labor reports, analyzes variances, and distributes to management.

　　Performs monthly bank account reconciliations and various balance sheet account reconciliations.

　　Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations and work papers for quarterly balance sheet reviews by accounting management.

　　Assists department management in preparation for various audits

　　Other accounting projects and functions as assigned.

　　Qualifications & Experience requirements

　　A bachelor degree in accounting and previous accounting experience,

　　Healthcare environment (long-term care) experience preferred.

　　Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

　　Must be knowlegeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

　　Must have the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant

　　Must be able to deal tactfully with team members and managers

　　Excellent Excel skills are required

　　Workday experience a plus

　　Superior organizational skills, strong task management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

　　Also important are excellent interpersonal and communication skills with both internal and external customers and the ability to work in a team oriented environment.

　　A positive attitude, with a high degree of ethics and personal integrity, as well as confidentiality, are needed to be successful in this role.
