Description Robert Half is searching for an experienced Staff Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. In this role, the Staff Accountant is in charge of preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also be responsible for various aspects of internal reporting throughout the monthly close. You will put your skills towards the development and implementation of accounting policies. Also, you will take part in compliance, interact with our external auditors for quarterly reviews and annual audits, and review schedules for the reporting processes. This intricate position is involved in the production of Financial Statements, Cash Flow projections, and Budgets. 　　Assemble journal entries and thorough account reconciliations that include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll

　　Assist with the month end, quarter end and year end closing process by preparing monthly financial close workbooks

　　Maintain fixed asset ledgers, depreciation, and reconciliation

　　Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments

　　Take part in various department-wide initiatives

　　Coordinate and analyze a variety of financial data, then report it in a way that is useful and understandable

　　Ad hoc reporting and performing special projects upon request

　　Conduct month end close and compose journal entries with minimal supervision

　　Maintain intercompany transactions, billings, and reconciliation

　　Implement, maintain, and adhere to internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with GAAP

　　Regularly maintain and reconcile journal entries

　　In-depth knowledge of reconciling month end balance sheet accounts

　　Compose analyses for income statements and monthly balance sheets for management reporting Requirements - Foundational knowledge in Accounts Payable (AP)

　　Demonstrated knowledge of journal entries

　　Financial statement preparation experience desired

　　Expertise in Review Financial Statements

　　Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)

　　Proficiency in Monthly Reconciliation

　　Adeptness in Fixed Asset Accounting

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Knowledgeable of ERP systems

　　Detailed and have the ability work independently

　　Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities

　　Mature organizational, written and verbal communication skills

　　Exemplary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　Spreadsheet and database capabilities

　　Vow to meet business deadlines

　　1+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent, and to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment
