Description A large, locally owned company in Edmond is searching for a general ledger accountant. This accountant will report to the Asst. Controller and be responsible for balance sheet reconciliations, making journal entries, assisting with month end close and special projects. 　　Excellent attention to detail

　　Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

　　Microsoft Excel experience

　　Journal entries experience preferred

　　General ledger experience

　　Comprehensive knowledge of account reconciliation

　　Bank reconciliations experience

　　Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills

　　Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity

　　BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics

　　Extraordinary analytical, quantitative and social skills

　　2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience

　　Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases

　　Ability to handle multiple projects within strict deadlines
