　　Job Title: Staff Accountant (Short-Term Contract - 4 Months)

　　Position Overview:

　　As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting team with month-end close duties and other essential responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the success of a cutting-edge FinTech organization while gaining valuable experience in the industry.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Assist with month-end close procedures, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data.

　　Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

　　Perform general staff accountant duties, including maintaining financial records and documentation.

　　Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the Accounting Department.

　　Provide support for ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned.

　　Pay: $25-$35/hour

　　Requirements

　　Qualifications:

　　Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

　　Proven experience as a Staff Accountant, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

　　Banking or FinTech experience.

　　Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.

　　Proficient in using NetSuite and Bill.com.

　　Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

　　Location: Hybrid work environment based in San Francisco. In-office presence required 1-2 times a week.
