　　A company in Hauppauge, NY is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Entry-Level Accountant to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a key role in managing the finances of our business, including creating financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and assisting with the preparation of tax documents. 　　Responsibilities

　　Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, including the profit and loss statement and balance sheet.

　　Help with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities, including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.

　　Analyze and report on financial status including income statement variances, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation and analysis.

　　Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

　　Assist with tax audits and tax returns.

　　Support the payment processing team.

　　Perform ad-hoc analysis and projects as requested
