  Description

  The Amazon Mexico team is looking for a dynamic and talented Senior Vendor Manager. Joining the HRV team means partnering with a dynamic and creative group who set a high bar for innovation and success in a fast-paced and changing environment. The Senior Vendor Manager will be responsible for building and managing Amazon Mexico's Tools business, including creating, negotiating, and maintaining strong vendor relationships; innovating how we connect with and add value for customers; owning and driving the P&L (including reporting, unit, revenue, and margin growth); and working with stakeholder teams to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that will result in category leadership in the online market segment.

  We expect the Senior Vendor Manager (SVM) to be a passionate customer and category advocate within Amazon, with proven analytical capabilities and project management skills, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task. The SVM must be an effective negotiator, leader and communicator in working with some of Amazon’s most important partners and vendors, as well as with internal cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for retail, a high level of flexibility, commitment, and a sense of humor.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Mexico City, DIF, MEX

  Basic Qualifications

  5+ years of with Excel experience

  5+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience

  Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL

  Experience using data to influence business decisions

  Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration

  Experience with business analysis and P&L management

  Bachelor Degree or certificate of completion of studies required and at least 8+ years of professional background.

  Advanced level in both, English and Spanish

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
