Job Description

　　As a Test Automation Architect (SDET), you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust and scalable test automation frameworks and solutions using Latest tools and technologies. You will be responsible for leading the test automation efforts across multiple business, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality of software products through automated testing, reducing manual tests, conduct POC with latest trend in industry to assess fitment. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of the testing process and the overall efficiency of the software development lifecycle.

　　Responsibilities:

　　Architect and Design: Develop a comprehensive test automation strategy and architecture. create, document and maintain the automation framework, libraries, and tools to support efficient and reliable automated testing.

　　Automation Development: Write, review, and maintain automated test scripts using Java/ C#/ python etc. Ensure the scripts are modular, maintainable, and scalable, covering different levels of testing such as unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. Excellent at BDD, TDD

　　Framework Enhancement: Continuously improve the test automation framework by incorporating best practices, industry standards, and emerging technologies. Implement innovative solutions to address complex testing challenges.

　　Collaboration: Work closely with development, quality assurance, and product teams to understand software requirements, identify testing needs, and provide technical insights.

　　Test Strategy: Contribute to the overall test strategy, test planning, and test case design. Define and prioritize test cases for automation, focusing on maximizing coverage and minimizing risk.

　　Code Review: Review automated test scripts written by other team members for quality, efficiency, and adherence to coding standards. Provide constructive feedback and mentor junior automation engineers.

　　Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. Ensure that automated tests run reliably and provide timely feedback.

　　Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test suites and analyse test results. Investigate and report defects.

　　Performance and Scalability Testing(NFR): Integrate performance and scalability tests into the automation framework. Identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

　　Training and Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate team members on test automation best practices, tools, and techniques. Share knowledge within the organization to promote a culture of quality.

　　Qualifications

　　Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

　　Proven experience 10+ years as a Test Automation Engineer, SDET, or similar role, with focus on UI, API, Integration, Unit tests.

　　Strong programming skills in Java/C#/Python.

　　Strong knowledge in BDD, TDD.

　　Strong knowledge in Docker, Kubernetes, AWS

　　Experience in software testing or development with good understanding of testing, coding and debugging procedures.

　　Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, testing types, and best practices.

　　Experience designing and implementing test automation frameworks from scratch.

　　Proficiency in creating and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications.

　　Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) concepts and tools.

　　Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), build tools (e.g., Maven, Gradle), and issue tracking systems.

　　Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

　　Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to work in cross-functional teams.

　　Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is a plus.
