　　Job Overview:Bechtel is on the Northrop Grumman Corp. team preparing to deliver the U.S. Ground Based Strategic Deterrent (GBSD) system of inter-continental ballistic missiles and launch infrastructure. GBSD is a vital U.S. Air Force program designed to modernize the nations aging force of inter-continental ballistic missiles, which make up the ground element of the nuclear deterrent. As part of the Northrop Grumman GBSD nationwide team, Bechtel will provide launch system design, construction, and integration.

　　Role Overview:This role will support design development of structural engineering designs for the GBSD program project by preparing studies, drawings, calculations, specifications, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable procedures, codes, standards, and contract requirements. Work with other Structural engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment.

　　Development of concrete and steel structural design and drawings, including seismicFoundation design and drawingsAssist with boring oversight and walkdowns of existing facilitiesPerform formal calculations and drawingsReview existing conditions and as-builts drawingsReview customer and vendor information from subcontractors and integrate it into the design solutionDevelop design configuration packages for configuration control, change management, and procurementDevelop design specifications for construction and/or procurementExecute to schedule requirement while maintaining a high degree of quality in work productCoordinate closely with other technical disciplines in planning and executing work as an...
