　　POSITION SUMMARY:

　　Drive all phases of Storage Engineering; including architecture, implementation, support, and performance engineering for our enterprise Storage platforms. Work with key technical and business stakeholders to determine data and storage requirements and create solutions to meet requirements.

　　Preform root cause analysis, monitoring system availability, troubleshooting storage and cloud related issues, diagnosis and resolving problems, recover processes affected during down-times, develop system modifications, hardware and software configurations/upgrades/maintenance, perform monitoring and tuning, change management, creation of technical and procedural documentation, and disaster recovery participation.

　　PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

　　Perform all aspects of SAN administration including planning, installation, upgrading, patching, tuning, support, and troubleshooting

　　Ensure the availability, reliability, scalability, and manageability of the data storage environment

　　Validate technical solution architectures of array storage and provides time, cost, and delivery estimates versus performance trade-offs

　　Perform Storage allocations, Switch related tasks

　　Perform all support tasks including tuning, troubleshooting, maintenances

　　Contribute and develop best practices, methodologies, templates and documentation

　　Conduct performance management and Capacity Planning for infrastructure components

　　Perform Root Cause Analysis for the Storage and Infrastructure related issues

　　Provide Recommendations for the Improvement of the Infrastructure

　　Work with Storage & Backup team customers for cross functional tasks

　　Responsible for test planning and execution

　　Follow policies and procedures for change and incident management.

　　Stay current on industry trends and new technologies and recommend future initiatives

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology, Engineering

　　4 years of delivering enterprise technical support and engineering experience.

　　4 years of SAN or Storage design experience.

　　4 years of enterprise backup experience.
