Responsibilities:

　　The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for the following job duties:

　　Prepare high-level software design documents and technical specifications;Review software application code;Prepare production release documents and database, elastic search, and external system dependencies;Handle software application code implementation;Explore new technologies and features added in new software upgrades;Support and maintain production;Work with testing teams to add APIs to performance test suite;Monitor API performance and analytics; andDocument existing processes.Requirements:

　　Employer requires candidate to have a Bachelors degree in computer engineering or a closely related field and five (5) years of progressively more responsible work experience in software engineering or a closely related occupation.

　　Candidate must also have the following:

　　Demonstrated Knowledge of Object oriented programming gained through five (5) years of work experience;Demonstrated experience using JAVA and J2EE gained through five (5) years of work experience;Demonstrated experience designing web applications with at least two (2) of the following technologies: JSP, Servlets, HTML 5, JavaScript, AJAX, JRules, CSS, Struts, Adobe Flex, or Action Scripts gained through five (5) years of work experience;Demonstrated experience with Web Services including SOAP web services or RESTFUL webservices gained through four (4) years of work experience;Demonstrated experience with multiple relational databases such as Oracle or SQL Server gained through three (3) years of work experience; andDemonstrated knowledge of ETL tools such as Pentaho and Teradata for business analytics gained through one (1) year of work experience.Telecommuting is an option.
