　　Byte is looking for an experienced Software Engineer to develop scalable solutions for our distributed platform. Our ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing high performance, scalable, maintainable and fault tolerant enterprise SaaS/Cloud applications that follow proven design principles. They will be articulate with strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences at all levels of the organization. They will have a demonstrated ability to execute all aspects of the project management process from initiation, scoping, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, closing, and learning for multi-disciplinary teams.

　　Key Responsibilities

　　Plan and execute new features

　　Develop scalable solutions for our distributed platform

　　Production troubleshooting and hot fixing of mission critical systems/services

　　Coordinate with Design and Back-End teams for building front-end features

　　Perform Full Stack code reviews, provide suggestions, and identify best practices

　　Assist Front-End and Back-End developers with building integrated customer-facing features

　　Unit & integration testing

　　Browser-based debugging and performance testing software

　　Requirements and Qualifications

　　3+ years of software development experience

　　3+ years of experience developing consumer facing applications

　　2+ years of unit/integration test automation, CI/CD

　　In-depth knowledge of React, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML

　　Experience with TypeScript, NodeJS, Webpack, Styled Components, Storybook, React JS or React Native

　　Git Proficiency, PRs, Branching concepts

　　BS or MS in Computer Science or related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience

　　Bonus

　　Experience with e-commerce web applications

　　Experience with Shopify and Shopify tools (Slate, Flow, Script Editor)

　　Experience in cloud technologies/platforms such as Azure or AWS

　　Experience with NoSQL DB’s such as MongoDB or Cosmos

　　Have participated in mobile app development either Frontend or Backend

　　The base salary and variable compensation for this role is between $130,000 and $165,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
