Code, test, and debug new software, make enhancements to existing software. Participate in code review sessions to validate adherence with development standards. Develop and maintain technical documentation and standard operating procedures. Serve as secondary escalation point to resolve incidents and problems for supported production application and webservices. Collaborate with customers and internal and cross-departmental technical teams to identify software problems and communicate remediation plans. Influence system design by identifying and recommending design and requirements needs for software enhancements. Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts, and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain web- and desktop-based business applications. Analyze and resolve computer-related problems by coordinating with in-house personnel to diagnose and fix operational difficulty. Consult, advise, and train on specialized features and functions. Follow established configurations and change control processes, as well as establish credibility at all levels with clients. Build problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues. Act as an effective front-line leader and assist with developing lower level developers to drive high performance culture and environments. Utilize technical knowledge of IT in coding, testing, and design; utilize ITSM software including Cherwell, ServiceNow, or Remedy to develop workflows and other enhancements according to customers requirements. Troubleshoot IT applications, such as debugging, testing, and installing. Utilize basic functions of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
[**[REQUIREMENTS: [Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of experience utilizing technical knowledge of IT in coding, testing, and design. 1 year of experience: utilizing ITSM software including Cherwell, ServiceNow, or Remedy to develop workflows and other enhancements according to customers requirements; troubleshooting IT applications including debugging, testing, and installing; and any combination of experience using basic functions of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. A hybrid (in office and remote work) arrangement is available.
