  Sr. Social Strategist

  This is a remote-based position

  As a Sr. Social Strategist with Advance Local , you'll develop the strategy, planning, deployment, and management of the top tier paid social media campaigns integrated into our clients' overall marketing plan. This includes all elements of campaign execution - from proposal research, competitive analysis, campaign strategies, ongoing performance monitoring, optimization, and performance analysis. While collaborating with our local sales teams and advertisers, you'll work towards increasing brand awareness or sales/conversions, while improving efficiencies.

  Additionally, this position is responsible for ongoing education of the internal sales and strategy teams and is a key stakeholder in retention through reporting and data storytelling.

  What you’ll be doing:

  Responsible for proactive, complex campaign management within technology platforms to exceed benchmark KPIs and top tier client goals. 

  Analyzing current and historical performance, site traffic and platform reports to optimize for campaign success and provide strategic direction to Advance Digital Operations peers, leaders and sales collaborators.   

  Regularly leverage Optimization Dashboards to support campaign progress and updates for Market teams.  

  Participate in pre-determined client performance calls, sharing performance insights, optimizations of targeting, reach and recommended growth strategies, applying active listening skills for client feedback to help positively impact campaign KPI attainment.

  Provide sales team and advertisers with campaign management support and troubleshooting.

  Proactively share industry knowledge and advanced skills in digital solution optimization, trend analysis and on-going performance reporting through data storytelling. 

  Leverage critical thinking and strategic insight to support all complex campaign components, including (but not limited to) set-up, delivery execution, performance and data trend analysis and data storytelling.

  Lead strategic Virtual team meetings to discuss platform and testing updates, optimization opportunities, recommendations to improve paid search performance.

  Lead and collaborate on all knowledge-sharing opportunities to support our collective digital growth. 

  Our ideal candidate will have the following:

  Bachelor's degree in related field or a combination of education and experience demonstrating ability to perform the job

  Minimum of five years' experience managing and optimizing social media campaigns using Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, SnapChat, Tik Tok and/or Pinterest

  Ability to handle 25+ accounts and $2,000,000 in annual revenue

  Excellent analytical and project management skills

  Exceptional attention to detail and ability to perform under tight deadlines

  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into easily understandable terms

  Proven record analyzing campaign data, deriving actionable insights and acting on performance data, quickly, accurately and efficiently under tight deadlines

  Google Analytics 4, and Meta certification(s) preferred

  Familiarity with SEO, website best practices, and/or other digital marketing channels preferred

  Proficient in Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and pixel implementation

  Creative thinker, who is an assertive problem solver with an analytical mind

  Strong time management and organizational skills with a proven ability to manage several clients, balancing several priorities and meeting multiple deadlines in a fast paced, constantly changing environment

  Passionate about social media marketing and eager to learn new skills while keeping up to speed with the latest industry developments

  Strong understanding of Social Media best practices. Demonstrated ability to think outside the box and come up with unique ideas for creative content, messaging and campaigns
