　　Job Description

　　Skyworks is looking for an experienced quality engineer to join our semiconductor manufacturing team in Woburn, MA. This engineer will collaborate on-site with multiple team members, including the process engineering and operations teams to apply Skyworks quality standards in alignment with ISO9001 and IATF requirements. This person would operate as part of a local manufacturing quality team. Team collaboration, dependable work ethic, and clear communication are a must-have for a successful candidate.

　　Primary role: Quality Engineer

　　Responsibility:

　　Apply best-known quality and manufacturing methods and practices to our production line. Provide guidance and leadership on all aspects of process quality and product quality to the engineering and operation team.

　　With little supervision, execute Skyworks quality management system and its processes. This includes risk mitigation (FMEAs), control plans, corrective action plans, statistical process controls, problem lot disposition, and change management.

　　Internally manage customer complaints and coordinate corrective actions (non-customer-facing)

　　Perform internal process and product audits.

　　Improve manufacturing quality systems and processes as needed.

　　Assist with customer and certification audits.

　　Provide regular reports on key metrics

　　Requirements:

　　MS in engineering, science, engineering management, or industrial engineering

　　2-3 years of hands-on experience executing most of the common quality management processes (see above)

　　Working knowledge of quality management standards like ISO9001, IATF, or VDA6.3

　　Experience working in a high-volume manufacturing facility

　　Preferred requirements: Prior experience in a semiconductor manufacturing facility and knowledge of automotive standards (IATF, VDA 6.3 or similar) are highly desirable.

　　The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $87,600 - $167,900 per year. Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
