  Description

  Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Property Manager for our client!

  Well established multi-state organization that manage a portfolio of upscale and Class A properties. Some of our local holdings include luxury residential towers, retail, and upscale commercial spaces. Our experienced management staff handles the day-to-day challenges with proficiency, and responds to market demands with great efficiency. Being a streamlined organization, we are flexible and resourceful in our approach to the management of our properties.

  RESPONSIBILITIES:

  Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the property.

  Supervise all on-site personnel.

  Train, or supervise the training, of staff members.

  Schedule and assign duties for the on-site staff.

  Coordinate the schedule and the assignments of the maintenance staff with the Maintenance Supervisor.

  Execute leases and contracts.

  Prepare employee reviews.

  Coordinate the move-ins, move-outs, and unit turnover process.

  Oversee the collection of all rents, deposits and income generated by the property.

  Monitor and approve all the expenses of the property, and obtain the approval of ownership as needed.

  Maintain all community and resident records, files, documents and reports and maintain their confidentiality.

  Manage the marketing and advertising of the property.

  Supervise the property’s leasing and prospective resident intake activities.

  Compile management reports that summarize the property’s performance.

  Inspect the property for maintenance items and improvements.

  Communicate to the ownership the needs of the property.

  Plan resident events.

  Enforce all the policies and procedures of the property.

  Requirements

  Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  Multi-Location or Multi-Entity Accounting preferred

  Sound understanding of industry specific accounting software

  Experience in accounting, real estate accounting, or property accounting preferred

  Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required

  Command of Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills

  QUALIFICATIONS: (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training and Experience.)

  4 year degree desired

  Five years’ experience in management of commercial or large luxury residential properties.

  Yardi experience is preferred.

  Excellent people skills.

  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
