Description

　　ShipTech Program Management team is looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead the Planning and Process Improvement charter for the team. ShipTech Program team works with 20+ WW Business and Operations stakeholders to gather their details on their problems to be solved through ShipTech and collaborate with technology teams internally within ShipTech to provide solutions and ensure end-to-end program delivery.

　　As part of this role, you will be responsible for driving the planning and process improvement charter for business intakes workstream. In the Planning charter, you will be responsible to coordinate and deliver on both short-term and long-term planning aspects (including planning for upcoming sprint, OP planning for business programs for next year, etc.). You will be expected to lead the process improvement charter for the wider ShipTech Program management team (covering other functions).

The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, able to juggle multiple stakeholders at once, able to work independently, and maintain professionalism under pressure. You must be able to identify problems before they happen, and drive robust processes. You must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, and work to improve customer experience.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　Understanding Amazon’s priorities across worldwide businesses.

　　Aligning yearly roadmaps across worldwide stakeholders (planning additional hiring or moving headcount across teams or re-prioritizing projects to fit the headcount budget).

　　Monthly bandwidth planning across projects and communication with stakeholders globally.

　　Process improvement so that we are able to reduce our time to market to launch new capabilities for our customers globally.

　　Manage the reporting on key P0 metrics and holding the internal program functions accountable for meeting yearly goals. Enabling granular reporting to the leadership for the key metrics and goals the team owns.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

　　5+ years of program or project management experience

　　5+ years of delivering cross functional projects experience

　　Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　2+ years of driving process improvements experience

　　Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
