  About the Job:

  Product Teams at Target are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology, discovery and design work.

  Join us as a Senior Product Manager for Privacy within Target's Digital team. These front-end guest experiences on both Target.com and the Target include Privacy-related tools and capabilities, data usage transparency tools, privacy policy and more. You will be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders in Compliance, Privacy, Legal, Guest Data, Loyalty, and more to bring these experiences to life and to contribute to shared goals and metrics. This position plays a critical role in elevating transparency and choice within our suite of digital service products now and in the future.

  ResponsibilitiesAssess: Conduct technical deep-dive reviews of engineering design, data flows and architecture to evaluate for privacy compliance. Identify privacy issues and provide mitigation strategies and approvals pre-launch, to ensure all products and services meet the high privacy bar when they are released to customers.Guide: Partner with engineering and UX team in all phases of development as a subject matter expert on privacy compliance and excellence contributing to overall feature design and user experience.Attest: Ensure our products and connected services comply with all internal privacy standards and pass all privacy bars, as well as any other legal regulations, and develop customized implementation guidelinesAnticipate: Understand the competitive landscape and provide proactive privacy guidance to feature teams to build future-proof solutions.Innovate: Propose new features and functionalities providing maximum transparency and choice in data control to guests helping build positively towards overall retail experience while meeting compliance standardsDrive to resolution: Be able to identify and drive decisions by appropriately escalating privacy issues by partnering with leadership, Legal and privacy orgs around the company.Implement: Translate new privacy policy and requirements into UX requirements and drive the implementation of those requirements with other Product managers across the engineering teams.As a Senior Product Manager, you will work in the product model and will partner to develop a comprehensive product strategy, related roadmap, and set key business objectives (OKRs) for your respective product.

  You will need to leverage the knowledge of your product, as well as customer feedback and establish other relevant data points to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and desired outcomes for your product. You will lead a product and work in unison with engineers, UX designers, data scientists and business partners to deliver a product.

  You will be the "voice of the product" to key stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful. You will develop and actively understand the market, maintain a product roadmap and backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

   About you: Four-year degree or equivalent experience6+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in Digital or eCommerce, working in distributed team models across geographiesExperience should encompass strong domain expertise in Privacy and organizational agility.Experience developing and driving complex, cross-group projects.Proven experience working with legal and regulatory affairs teams translating privacy requirements and regulation into actionable UX specification for that account for UX design.Proven track record delivering across organizational boundaries in a highly matrix model and sustaining strong partnerships within and outside the organization. Ability to drive decisions, bring clarity to ambiguity, influence leadership, and manage business outcomes with pace.Strong communication skills that can tailor content and concepts based on audience (internal stakeholders and with external customers), leadership levels, and disciplines.
