The Sr. Product Manager - Planned Spend position is an exciting opportunity to work in the early stages of building the strategy for the B2B business on Amazon. The right candidate is an effective listener, communicator and problem-solver, and is able to balance the needs and requirements of Amazon Business customers, and selling partners.The Sr. Program Manager - Planned Spend will help Amazon Business develop foundational processes and mechanisms, and standardized SOPs in the form of a playbook to enable successful RFx participation and execution through selling partner collaboration.o Working closely with cross-functional teams, the PM will build new processes and mechanisms for Planned Spend execution, inventory operations and reporting.o They will lead and facilitate S&OP mechanisms with Category Adoption and Brutus Sales teams, validating and prioritizing customer opportunities.o The PM will drive process improvement and develop SOPs and mechanisms for the Deal Desk operations and reporting.o The PM will provide thought leadership for category specific guardrails on Planned spend inventory and profitabilityWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:Seattle, WA, USA- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition- Experience with end to end product delivery- Experience as a product manager or owner- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders- Experience establishing and building business process and operations in a start-up environment.Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $110,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
