  The Role

  Proofpoint is looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager for our new Engineering team in Ireland. You will work on one of our core SaaS solutions, with service-based architecture that allows us to scale to meet the needs of hundreds of clients. Powered by innovative, patented technologies, Proofpoint has a proven track record of rapid growth, providing enterprise-wide solutions for some of the largest companies in the world.

  Your day-to-day

  Own and define product requirements and vision, as well as security and cost considerations

  Managing a product backlog, creating user stories and other requirements documentation

  Working with engineering, QA, UX and doc teams to deliver the required solutions on schedule

  Educating the sales, sales engineering, professional services and support organizations on the product as well as provisioning and management best practices

  What you bring to the team

  Proven product management experience in enterprise software and/or enterprise-focused cloud services

  Experience in managing product functionality through the entire life cycle from initial requirements gathering through to product release and rollout

  Ability to manage complex initiatives with limited supervision

  Excellent written and oral communication skills

  Technical skills allowing you to effectively engage in implementation conversations with the engineering team

  Understanding of public cloud infrastructure, encryption standards, search technologies, disaster recovery strategies and/or storage technologies would be a bonus

  Market understanding in messaging would be a bonus
