As an Enterprise Architect for GWS, you will be a catalyst in strategic digital transformation initiatives. You will be responsible for helping to define the future architecture, applications, technologies, and security for our entire product platform ecosystem. You will be at the core of engineering activities to deliver modular, distributed, flexible and highly scalable commercial platforms partnering with product teams across the globe. The platforms you will architect will be driven by service or micro-services architecture, running in multiple cloud environments
WHAT WE DO
•Build cloud-native applications utilizing Open source and Microsoft technologies across multiple cloud platforms.
•Modernize monolith legacy applications to highly scalable distributed applications on microservices-based architecture and deploy them on cloud platforms.
•Execute projects on Agile best practices and embrace the DevOps culture across the software delivery lifecycle
•Build and develop integration frameworks for 3rd party vendor applications.
•Design and implement new features/applications based on industry standards.
•Create modern, responsive web applications to provide real estate services to our internal and external clients.
•Develop and distribute Mobile apps built on native or react native architecture for both iOS and Android platforms.
•Implement Continuous Security, Integration, Deployment & Monitoring for the software products
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to develop a platform vision for an assigned business function
•Partner with business segment leaders to support and deliver key technology priorities
•Perform architecture and technology evaluations of new solutions
•Perform business value stream and capability mapping work to drive rationalization, re-use decisions
•Identify re-use opportunities across business & technical services, frameworks, libraries etc
•Designing highly scalable, performant and secure cloud propositions, build on target state platform vision
•Providing Technology Leadership and driving in delivering product roadmaps by embracing Agile and DevOps
•Develop architecture patterns and related services in several domains such as Service Mesh, IoT, Chatbots, AI/ML, Data Persistence, LCNC, Observability
•Collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering Managers and other Architects in shaping and aligning product roadmap and delivery of new features
•Presenting complex technical proposals to both technical and non-technical audiences
TECHNICAL SKILLS
•12+ years of in Designing, Development and Maintenance of Scalable, Distributed applications.
•At least 5 years in architectural or design capacity
•Experience with AI/ML and LLM frameworks
•Experience with frameworks like ReactJS, AngularJS, NodeJS and designing MicroService/Event driven architecture.
•Experience with Java, Spring Boot based application development on both RDBMS (SQL Server / Postgresql) and NoSql (Mongo/Elastic) backbone.
•Solid understanding and hands-on with Kafka or any other equivalent queue-based implementation for event driven architecture
•Experience with docker containers and running them at scale using Docker Swarm or Kubernetes
•Ability to work and deliver on .NET platforms
•Experience with cloud migration (AWS or Azure) and managing the development of cloud-based applications and development of APIs, web services.
•Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines and infrastructure provisioning.
•Advanced knowledge and experience with the full software development lifecycle, with Agile and iterative development practices and associated tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps etc
•Ability to communicated ideas / architecture and get buy-in from the relevant stakeholders.
•Strong business acumen and successful track record in aligning diverse groups and opinions.
Bonus/Nice to have:
•Experience with NoSQL databases.
•Security architecture
•Familiarity or experience with IoT, DigitalTwins and SmartPortfolios for Real Estate
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field such as information systems, mathematics, or
computer science or equivalent work experience. Requires technical and business knowledge in
multiple disciplines/processes.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively
present information.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve problems
involving several options in situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
